Reading income emails on Preview Pane

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: intel
Email Client: pop

Some incoming email messages did not show on Preview Pane.
I thought messages were empty but I was not sure.
On Preferences I changed from HTML to Plain Text, then hitting Reply or Forward I can read message's hidden text.

Do I have a solution to read all incoming emails on Preview Pane?

If you double click on the email message to view it, is it also displayed
blank?

Would it be possible to send one of those emails that show up blank on the
preview pane as a sample to huchinATmicrosoftDOTcom (please modify
accordingly) so that I can check it out? Thanks!
