Reading Metadata from Word Documents

I'm very familiar with the common information (title, author, creation date, version etc) that is stored in Word metadata and the various VBA scripts that can be used to access the data.
Does metadata store any information that is classed as system data, for example, operating system, computer type/name, and if so, how can I access it for auditing purposes for my document scanning system?
