Reading View differs from Page Layout View

When I accessed a Word doc today a number of my pictures were not displaying
in Print Layout view, but they appear in the Reading Layout view just fine.
The document prints OK too. I'm sure this is a setting issue, although I
haven't done anything goofy in word since yesterday when the document was
working just fine.

Before we start doing anything complicated: does restarting Windows make a
difference in what you see?
