Ready to implement db

I can't believe that we're close to implementing our Access database- large
thanks to so very many discussion group participants!

I'm looking for information and suggestions to getting our new db off the
ground. Putting it on a server (allowing more than one person to update it
at a time), backing it up, splitting (whatever that is). We do have a
technical resource but he is not at all familiar with Access so I'd
appreciate your help in determining how to get started. Very exciting!
