Hello good pple of the forum,

server 2007.

The deliverables feature that you have on the project workspace once a
project has been published can be quite useful. If there is a project charter
that includes various deliverable that need to be achieved by the project,
you can list these deliverables with their dates on the project workspace,
this gives stakeholders and executives a place to view this information, The
project manager can then "link" the deliverables to the tasks (often
milestones) concerning those delibverables in MSP using the collaborate menu
and manage deliverables. The work link is misleading as it is not a link that
will move the task or the deliverable if one of them changes, but rather it
displays an indicator in the Gantt chart that visually allows the project
manager to see how his tasks are progressing against the deliverbles.

Nice. Based on your response, you can use the deliverables to create
milestones in the project schedule. Could you do the reverse? If you
have a milestone task in yoru schedule, could you make this appear as
a deliverable in the deliverables in the project workspace?

thanks,
