Really weird problem... software glitch?

So I have several lines of data and I am creating a concatenatio
statement. I enter the statement in row 1 and copy it down. Th
formula that shows in the formula bar correctly updates the row number
as you go down but the data in the formula continues to be that of ro
1. However, if, for any given row, I click into the formula bar an
hit enter the data updates to that of the row. i.e. row 5 then woul
be correct. This would be fine to do except that there are 5000
lines.

Any thoughts

Looks like your calculation is set to Manual, hit F9 to check, then go
to Tools/Option/Calculation and select Automatic.
