Rearrange document

I'm wondering if anyone can give me some advise on a
problem. I'm typing a book for a customer. I've typed
almost eleven chapters and now he's thinking the book may
be too thick and wondered if we could resize the page
size without too much trouble. I used text boxes in the
book to simplify the flow of chapters and pictures.
Pictures are on pages by them selves, (no text is on the
same page as a picture. If I resize the text boxes to a
large page size, it leaves a number of blank pages since
more text fits into the larger text box. When I delete
the now created extra pages, it tends to foul things up
and reformatting can be a tedious job. Is there an easy
way to resize the boxes and rearrange the whole document
without major time investments? I also used section
breaks so that I could change the headers according to
the chapter. Help, I'd like to accommodate my customer,
but don't want to spend hours and hours in this endeavor
and I'm thinking he'd like the book to be completed
sometime this century! HELP PLEASE!

You have made a Procrustean bed for yourself by using text boxes, which is
an insane way to use a word processing app (and very constraining, too, I
would think, since Word doesn't allow more than 32 linked text boxes). Take
the text out of the text boxes, and then you'll be able to size the pages
any way you like.

A major problem is that you have apparently been using manual page breaks on
a regular basis. Try eliminating these and using, instead, styles for
paragraphs that you want to begin pages (usually heading styles). These
styles are set to automatically break the page before.

Problem is I was having difficulty when I was trying to
type this straight on the page w/out boxes. When I
inserted pictures things got fouled up then and they
would move the text in ways I didn't want. I used
the "top/bottom" text wrap to try to eleviate this
problem but had other problems too. Can't remember
exactly why I switched to the boxes, but dit it early in
the document. Now at ch. 11, it's going to be difficult
to change.
