Rearranging entires

I entered data into the data base the way I wanted it to print out on mailing
labels.
name
title
organization
address
city, state zip
The settings print out the labels with title then name.
How do I change the settings to stop interpreting and do what I say?

It's not "interpreting" - it's doing exactly what you're asking it to
do. This might not be what you WANT it to do though!

Assuming that this is a Microsoft Access(TM) Report (rather than Works
or some other program, which may require a different approach), open
the Report in design view. You should see textboxes for the name,
title, organization and so on. Simply move these textboxes around on
the report (using the mouse) until they are laid out the way you want
them. Save the Report and see if it looks like you want it.

This reminds me of one of my favorite "computer" sayings.

"I really hate this darn machine, I wish that they would sell it!
It never does what I want it to, it only does what I tell it!"

Good luck,

Tom
