Rebuild Index Page

I have FP 2003 & Windows XP. I need to delete the index page in order to fix
some things. It can be fixed no other way. I am nervous about this, thinking
that maybe I don't know how to name it correctly (so that it will still work
correctly as the index page) after I fix it. Do I simply delete the page &
then create a new web page & name it index.html? I have nobody else to help
me, so if I mess it up, I'm out of luck.

Deleting the index page may give you even more problems - if you use
FrontPage navigation bars deleting the page will also delete the navigation.

Instead, open the page in FrontPage and delete the content from the page,
and rebuild from there.

I suggest you make a copy of the page before deleting anything, just in
case....

Hi RC,

Do the following:

1. Open the page in the web
2. File | Save As to create a backup copy
3. Go to HTML / Code view | ctrl+A | press delete | go to Design view
4. Create the new design
5. Save page and test
