Rebuild of Data Base

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Email Client: Exchange Hi,
I had an error/corruption of my entourage data base. I used the wizard to validate the data base, which after was completed was determined to be OK. I then performed a rebuild of the data base, which also completed with out any issues. After the two actions were completed I have found that I now have two Main Identity folders labeled as follows:

Main Identity
Main Identity (Backed up 2009-12-03 17.37)

Two Questions:
1 Do i need to keep both folders?
2 If I do not need both folders which one should be deleted?

The issues is that the data bases are consuming alot of valuable disk space.
Thanks in Advance.

Rebuilding does not always fix corruption. For Exchange accounts, it's best
to just create a new Identity and let Entourage download the messages from
the server.

Well yes and no.
When you rebuild, the old dabase is set aside in case something goes
wrong.
You can see the old one as some sort of a backup for the new one I
guess.

Keep Main and delete the one that says "Backed up"
