Rebuild Project Server server

I need to rebuild our 'Project Server' server. From my
understanding, all PS configurations are held in the
database. So I should be able to rebuild the OS and
during the PS setup, point it to the existing database.
Is this a valid procedure, or are there other steps that
need to be completed?

You aren't providing enough information to get a response. Is this a single
box or multi-box configuration?

Regardless of your answer, there are additional steps that must be taken to
connect a new installation of project to an existing database. I cover this
in my book if you have a copy.
