recall high importance messages

When recalling a message, the answer came back "you sent
it marked with high importance"

Does this mean that high importance messages cannot be
recalled??

I've never seen that particular message, but the message recall feature
works so poorly that I don't think it's worth bothering with. You're more
likely to cause yourself additional embarrassment than avoid it.
