Recall issues

My boss would like to know why recalling an internal
email takes a long time (up to 8 hours)after the recall
was issued?


Any help is greatly appreciated.

He's lucky if it works at all. Recall only works if the recipient is logged
in at the time (and even then only sometimes). It's possible that he tried
to recall the message while the recipient was logged off.
