Receive email problem after install Leopard

Hi all,

After install Leopard, Entourage had a problem when receive email.
I see the status showed "message remaining to be received: 10" and then the
bar will hold on this status very long time.
So I quit Entourage and then open it again immediately, those 10 emails was
already download in the inbox.
I have to do this process every time when I see the status show " message
remaining to be received: ".
Is there anyway to fix this problem? Any idea?

This has not been reported on this newsgroup. Most problems with Leopard
have to do with an individual's install and setup not with a conflict
between Entourage and Leopard.

What type of install did you use? There are three types of install options
for Leopard:

Upgrade Mac OS X (the default upgrade method)
Archive and Install
Erase and Install

Users that use Erase and Install or Archive and Install have had the fewest
problems.

I suggest testing in a new User to see if the problems go away. Move your
Office 2004 Identity folder to Shared. Create a New User in System
Preferences and log out/in to the new User. Open Entourage in the new User.
A new Microsoft User Data folder will be created. Drag your Identity from
Shared to the MUD folder and let it replace the new blank one. Set the
Account to leave mail on the server for testing purposes.

If the problem goes away then there is a problem in you current User folder.

Is it possible that there is a large message on the server that Entourage is
having trouble downloading? Try accessing the mail account via a web
interface and see if there are any junk messages there or particularly large
messages.
