Received appointments do not give accept decline option

I don't receive option to accept or decline appointments or tasks that I
receive from other Outlook users, why?

Probably there's something amiss with the way they're sending to you.
Knowing more about your configuratioin -- Outlook version and mail server --
might shed some clues.
