Receiving a COMPLETE forwarded message w/ text & image?

When I receive a forwarded e-mail I only seem to receive the text not any
images that may be contained in the message. Is there a fix for this?

All depends on how it gets forwarded and your configuration. You didn't post
any of that info so it is hard to speak of any "fix".
