I have built an access database for work, which shows current data on various
operations. These operations are variable in nature, including their
location. I am trying to programmatically plot the locations, based on
information from Access ( or excel, i don't care which if i need to export
that's fine). I have looked at pptMerge, but unfortunately I cannot install
the addon on work computers. I would like to run the macro from Access, but
I am not sure how. I don't mind calling the macro from either Access or
Powerpoint, just want the job done.
I can use VBA relatively well, but I have no problem taking advice or
criticism.
Some Technical info:
All computers running will have Windows XP SP2 (at least) Office 2003 (at
most) and they are generally slow and cantankerous pieces of junk ;P.
Thanks for the future help,
