Receiving Delivery Failure report for message I didn't send. Why?

I received a message from (e-mail address removed) with the subject "Delivery
Status Notification (Failure). This was an automatically generated Delivery
Status Notification with the listing of numerous addresses. I did not send
any message to any of these folks. Can you tell me what's going on? Is
someone using my e-mail? Also, at the top of the message was a notation
"Unicode (UTF-7)
