Receiving email messages in RTF instead of HTML

Many received email messages are showing up as RTF with links that cannot be
accessed. Is there a way to change my outlook email to receive the messages
as sent?

They're probably Plain Text, not Rich Text. A frequent cause of this is
scanning incominig mail with an antivirus scanner. Uninstall your AV program
and reinstall it without any mail scanning. You'll still be protected.
