Have a client with Outlook 2000 SR-1 and we have just noticed some strange
behavior recently. He cannot receive new email until he generates a new
message to be sent out. When he clicks on "Send/Receive", nothing happens. It
is ONLY when he brings up a new mail message to send that he will be notified
that new mail has arrived; the mail will not actually appear in his inbox
until that point. He is running Windows XP Professional and sends/receives
email through Exchange v5.5 with SP4.
Does anyone have an explanation for this and, better yet, a fix?
