Receiving emails out of date order

I am running Outlook 2003 and quite often will not receive emails that I know
are sent to me. I ask the sender to resend and then I get it right away, but
the odd thing is that many hours later (or the next day) the original email
that was sent shows up. Any ideas on how to fix this?

more than likely an issue with your server that you can do little about
(except contact them).
