Receiving large emails.

I just installed Outlook 2003 and frequently when I receive large emails (but
not gigantic) it plugs up my system. If I close Outlook and restart it
sometimes clears it but I never had this problem with 2000. If it has to do
with my settings, I just can't figure it out. Thanks...

Did you upgrade from OL2k to OL2003?
And if so did you create a new Profile (not copy) and are you using the
OL2003 unicode data file, or still the origonal data file?

I went from Outlook 2000 to 2003. I completely removed Office 2000 and
installed Office 2003 SP3 with a new profile. I am using Windows Vista.

I really appreciate your help!

Use the mail applet in the control panel to create a new profile - do not
copy old - add a new data file & the accounts, test the accounts
(Even if you uninstalled OL2k the profile remains & is re-used as is the old
data file)
See how that goes, Then in OL, File>open>Data File.......browse to & open
your old data file, copy data from that to the new, if neccessary - do NOT
import -
Oh I forgot, once OL is is functioning with the new Profile & data file,
update Office2003 before connecting your old data file

DL, That didn't work. Maybe because of Vista...
