receiving multiple copies of emails on Outlook 2007

I'm getting several copies of mails from lists subscriptions, but not from
friends or associates. I do not have "save on server" checked, I do not get
email downloads automatically, I disabled email virus check (AVG). These
seem to be usual possible solutions suggested, but none has worked so far.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you checked your rules already? The can be a cause for the duplications
as well when you do not sort them correctly and/or do not use the "stop
processing rules" action.

How many accounts do you have defined in Outlook? Do you have more than one
mail address subscribed to the mailing list?
