receiving pic attach broken into pieces

Linda

My friend is trying to send, as an attachment, a picture
that is showing as 73 KB on her machine. It's a jpeg pic
and she is using html format for her email from Outlook
Express.
When it arrives into my Outlook 2003 inbox, there is no
attachment, the picture is plain text part of the email
and is broken into numerous email messages.
Whose settings have to change? and what settings cause
this?
Thanks!
Linda

Sounds like the sender has OE configured to slice up e-mails larger than X
kilobytes, and obviously X was chosen that is much smaller than the 73KB
message. Tell the sender to disable the "Break apart messages larger than N
kilobytes" option.

OK - I give up - where is the "break apart messages
larger than N kb's option located? Can't see it in OE's
Tools/Options.
Thanks again

Use OE's own help. In help, just search on "break apart".
