I am using Dreamweaver to load and update files which I have ser up in EXCEL,
uploading from "my" files a file called gistatus.csv fo a development web
site.
It uploads fine. I look at the file on the development site, using
Dreamweaver. The file is correct - with a specific date in the file.
When I examine the file on the development site via Firefox it brings up an
old file
called gistatus-1.csv. Doing this repeatedly, a series of files
gistatus-2.......n.csv
are noted in at the top of the display.
After doing a search in all files for this construction, I find that all the
iterations are in a folder called "Recent Files". I discovered this a week
ago. I deleted all the files in this folder. (I didn't even know this
folder existed.)
The same thing happened today. I recycled all the gistatus-1.....n.csv
files then
cleared the recycle bin. STILL when I tried to look at the file on FIREFOX,
the
same old problem occurred.
I would like to not have MS Office keep recent files for me. I don't want
them.
Someone tell me how to stop them.
