Recently Browsed in Microsoft Office (2003) Picture Manager

I've browsed some pictured on a different machine,
connecting to it via \\<ip address>\c$. Now that machine
is no more, however the link to it remained in the
Recently Browsed folder in my Picture Manager and it takes
FOREVER for it to load. I cannot seem to find any way to
clear that folder. Using Start Menu or IE cleanups does
not seem to affect Picture Manager. HELP! :)

Picture Manager - Office 200
Text is as follows

In the end I renamed a PC on our network and created the
folder in question.

One annoying "feature" of this Recently Browsed folder,
however, is that when a shortcut is deleted from the list,
it doesn't simply delete the shortcut, it deletes the
file/folder! Does anyine know a way around this

There are other posts by searching Picture Manager as your query..

Chris,
Thanks! I must have been brain-dead when posting my
message, as I didn't attempt to search the forums
with "picture manager", only the Microsoft support, of
which there wasn't that much.
I'll shout if none of what I found resolves my problem. :)

Agree, there is not much on search results for Picture Manager
Editing/managing clips, or digitals has sort been deleted/less of/diluted, for each newer version of Office
PhotoDraw (Office 2000) still works very well with Office 2003
You could post in Clip/Media group for more possible results

Hi Sergey,

1. Close all instances of Picture Manager;
2. Delete the "OIScatalog.cag" file. (By default, it is located at "Document
and Settings\username\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\OIS");
3. Restart Picture Manager.

Thanks to Jason Lu at Microsoft for this tip.
