Recently used file list missing

Help, my 'Recently used file list' is missing. Did I turn
off a switch somewhere? This is for all MS Office
products. Does anyone have a solution?

Do you have TweakUI installed? Do you have the option to Clear the My
Documents folder (or words to that effect) checked on the Paranoia tab (if
using TweakUI 1.33) It would be under the Explorer option on Windows XP
Powertoys TweakUI. "Clear Document History on Exit." Uncheck it.
