Recently Used files

I am using Word XP and when I go to Tools, Options, Generalm the Recently
Used Files list is grayed out. How do I get it so I can select the amout of
files I want to show in Word? Right now I can't use it.

It has something to do with your TweakUI settings. Look in the Google
archives of this newsgroup, searching for this exact subject
("Recently Used files") for details. The Microsoft Knowledge Base also
has an article that'll help. (Sorry, I don't have the article number.)

Word 2000 has it under Tools>Options>General tab> make sure that the
Recently used files list: is check and then click the number, max at 9
files.
