Does anyone know how to keep Outlook from checking or recieving e-mail after
exiting the program? I do NOT want it to check my messages in the
background. If I wanted it to check my e-mail, I would have left the program
running.
The problem becomes that I leave my computer running and then I use my
laptop or another computer to check my e-mail when I'm away from home, but I
am continually kicked off of the IMAP/SMTP servers because of the background
e-mail checks from my PC at home. It's really annoying.
