I would like some ideas and directions on how to create a recipe book.

Go to any bookstore.. look at a recipe book.. remember what it looks like..
reproduce what you saw in the bookstore.. if you need more ideas, return to
the book store..

If you just want to have something on the computer for reference, Microsoft
Office Online do a very nice Access database template for recipes..

In a twisted way this reminds me of
a story I heard many years ago.

A man was intent on watching an
artist carve a duck from a block of
wood with a pocket knife.

Finally he had to ask, "Sir...how in the
world do you know how to do that?"

The artist replied..."It's easy...I just
remove everything that doesn't look
like a duck."
