Recipient's names don't show up in archived sent itmes!

Matthieu

Hello,

I've recently started using Outlook 2003 and today i used the autoarchive feature for the first time. It moved everything as it should, except that now, all the items in my archived sent items folder show my name instead of the recipients name. Is that normal? If so, it does not seem very conveninet: how am i supposed to find the messages that i sent to a particular person? do I have to use the search function? Just a little confused here. If anyone could help me out i'd appreciate it.

Thanks.

Sounds like you might be looking at the From column, not the To column.

No i am not looking at the wrong column. The preview window in my sent items folder shows who the message was sent to, my archived sent items folder shows my name. It is only when i open the message that i can see the "to:" line. I may be a newbie to outlook, but i do have some common sense.

It might be helpful to tell us more about what you see in the preview window
in the archive Sent Items folder.

Just change the column header with the Field Chooser. Right click on the
header, click "Field Chooser" and add the "To" column.
