recipients on multiple servers

I send out newsletters for a group. I have everyone that I'm sending to in my
Address Book.

I send mail from the university server (we'll call it abc.edu). When I try
to send mail to recipients that are on multiple servers (ex. [email protected];
[email protected]; [email protected]) the abc.edu e-mails all go through fine (I have
delivery reciept enabled.) However, the remailing e-mails ([email protected];
[email protected]) all fail to send, and I have to send another duplicate mail to
those recipients.

Is this a problem with the way I have Outlook configured, or is it
server-side?

I'm using Office XP.
