Hi,

When a attach an item such as a photograph or video clip to an e-mail it
gets stuck in my outbox. very soon afterwards recipients start contacting me
to say "stop sending these e-mails, I now have 20+ in my inbox"

My only option seems to be to cancel the send and receive and delete the
e-mail, which is of course not a great solution.

I would be grateful for any suggestions as I have exhausted the standard
help suggestions.

Thanks in anticipation and regards,
Andy

Why are you sending such hugh-sized e-mails? Put the huge file up in
online storage and provide a link to it in your then much smaller
e-mail. E-mail was never designed to be a file transfer mechanism.

Not a good idea to use your real email address in a post. Be prepared for
tons of spam.

If you have an AV or Firewall that integrates with Outlook and scans outgoing and incoming messages, disable that integration. Is it unnecessary and causes exactly this kind of issue.
