Recognizing hidden slides?

Hi folks.

Is there an easy way to recognize a hidden slide while in "Normal
View"? If I go to Slide Sorter view, the numbers of hidden slides have
a convenient grey slash mark over them. Ditto in the Presenter's
Tools (which I love, by the way; kudos!). But it seems that in Normal
view, there's nothing to tell me which slides my audience will actually
see, unless I move to each individual slide and pull down the Slide
Show menu to see if "Hide Slide" is checked.

I'm SURE (hehe) that I'm just overlooking something, and that MS has
included some really easy way to see that slides are hidden within the
"Normal" view.

Right?

Please?

Hi,

You're right! In the default way PowerPoint comes you can't easily tell
whether or not a slide has been hidden or not.

But there is an easy way to make an indicator.

Use the Tools menu and choose Customize Menus and toolbars.
In the dialog box on the left side click Tools
On the right side scroll down and locate the Hide File command
Drag the Hide File command to any toolbar then let go
Click OK to close the Customize dialog box

That's all there is to it. Watch the button change as you select a
hidden slide and then a regular slide. As a bonus, you just click the
button to change a slide from hidden to not or vice-versa.
