Recombining Archive pst with main pst

B

Bob Cooley

Hi Gordon,

You can either use the File, Import from another program or file and choose
Personal Folders and browse to the archive.pst,

or

you can expand both in the folder list and right-click drag and drop the
contents from each folder from the archive.pst to the current one....

Hope this helps...

If I do an import, will that keep the original archive pst intact, or will
it disappear into the current pst?

It will not change the contents of the archive file from which you are
importing.

But you'll get the archive data mingled back in with your main .pst data.
Better to open the archive file and browse it separately.
I needed the combined pst file to import into another client, as it wouldn't
see the archive file to import.
