reconfigure Word to use a different browser?

We're using Word 2000 on Windows 2000.

I'm creating a toolbar item that jumps the user to a Web page on our
intranet.

Netscape appears to be the browser that Word wants to use.

I want to test this file with Internet Explorer, but I can't figure out
how to configure Word to use it.

(I actually didn't even realize that I still had Netscape on my PC, so I
uninstalled it. Now when I use that link on my toolbar, I get an error
message telling me that I should reinstall Netscape.)

How can I configure Word to use other browsers? I couldn't find this
anywhere in the help.

Have you checked Internet Options, Advanced tab? At the bottom there is a
checkbox to have Internet Explorer check that it is the default browser. If
that box is checked, opening Internet Explorer should allow you to set it as
the default browser.

That worked! I never thought to try to fix this from IE. Thanks so much
for the help.
