I mistakenly saved a new file over the old file and now need to find the old

If you did this on Project Server, then you would want to restore your most
recent backup of the database and extract the project file from there.

If you are using Project Server 2002 or 2003, refer to the following FAQ to
recover the original file from a backup:
http://www.projectserverexperts.com/Shared Documents/RestoreProject.htm
If you are using Project Server 2007, you can ask your Project Server
administrator to restore the project, assuming he/she is manually or
automatically backing up projects to the Archive database. Hope this helps.
