Recover e-mails and addresses

My pc broke down so I had to buy a new one. I have installed the old
harddrive into the new computer. Unfortunately I did not back up my e-mails
or addresses, is there a way to recover them from the old hard drive, or are
they lost forever?

The file you need to look for is your previous Personal Folders file (*.pst)
It's where all the mail, calendar, contacts etc are stored.
