Recover Office 07 Enterprise Key

C

Chris

I just recently had a registry issue that required me to run a restore to fix
it. Therefore, I lost my office 07 enterprise key. I can't seem to find the
disk.

I've reinstalled office 07 from the files that I recovered on the computer.
I also was able to recover my outlook user profile (600+ mb). However, I
still need to recover the product key for office, otherwise the trial will
kick me out shortly

Best that you try and find it
Sorry but you are certainly out of luck here. Trial keys especially for Office
Enterprise are not deposited into the registry as is other Retail versions of Office
where it can be found.

This wasn't a trial key. It was a full legal version. I said trial, because
when I reinstalled office 07 after the restore, I'm now on a trial version.
Until I find the key in the registry.

You are going to have to either find the key, go back to the employer that
you purchased the Home Use version of Enterprise from or contact Microsoft
directly for the key.

You say it was a full legal version but we can't be sure since there are
many pirated versions of the Enterprise software out there. Enterprise is
only sold as a volume license from Microsoft and then the volume license
holder can then provide Home Use licenses for their employees. If this
"full legal version" was purchased from an online store not affiliated with
your employer, the version you have is pirated. Of course, if you purchased
the copy from your employer, the software is not pirated and most of the
preceding does not apply to you, other than the contact information.

See http://www.microsoft.com/licensing/sa/benefits/home_use_rights.mspx for
more on the Home use program.
