The user is out of luck. There are password recovery services that you can
utilize - check on google for some possibilities.

The best PST password recovery tool makes it easy to recover and change the password from PST files. The Softaken PST Password Remove Software is what I recommend using to change your password. Technology has made it simple to recover and change a password from a PST file, regardless of how lengthy, complex, or secret the password is. You can operate the program without any technical expertise because of its user-friendly interface (UI). Without downloading Microsoft Outlook, this utility can recover or remove passwords from any PST file. This program is compatible with Windows versions 11, 10, 8.1, 8, 7, Vista, XP, and later. You can get the trial version of the program to test its main features.
