Recover unsaved word doc

Hi there,

I have just closed a word document without saving it, i.e I clicked on "no"
when it asked me whether I wanted to save it of not.
It was untitled and whilst I have had a quick look in the recycle bin, I
cannot see it.

Would it be best to look for the document by date somehow.

Could you please advise if it is recoverable.

If you never saved it, there is not (nor was there ever) anything to
recover.
