Recover word document

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel Took one hour to setup new word document. Had to close in a hurry, and hit "do not save" button by accident. Can I still recover document? Many thanks!

Sorry, but if it was never saved there is nothing to recover. What you do is
not written to your HD until you actually save... Until then the document
only exists in memory (RAM) & simply evaporates if you close without saving.
