recovered deleted messages disappear.

Coworker wants to recover deleted email. Highlight "deleted items" folder,
click tools menu and choose "Recover Deleted items." Select the message(s)
to recover and click the button. The message(s) disappears as if recovered,
but the recovered message is no where to be found. Not in inbox, not it
"deleted items." Where did it go? Thanks,
