recovered permanantly deleted items

Any body know how or of any tools to recover deleted items
from the deleted items folder. I have Outlook 2000 and its
not running off exchange. I guess my Boss uses his deleted
items folder as a storage folder for old emails and
contacts, notes...etc...He is not very happy.Any help is
much appreciated

There are at least one or two 3rd party utilities out there that claim to be
able to recover deleted data...a Google search should turn them up.
