Recovering a Document

Help. I retrieved one of my word docs, made changes to
it, but through "fat fingering", didn't get it saved. Now
when I try to retrieve it, it's empty. Can't use
the "undo", Norton restore can't find it there. The
filename still exists in the folder but that's all. There
is also an associated filename with the name "~$name",
that shows part of the original filename. Is there any
way I can recovering this docuement?

You could try checking in your temp files. From the run command on your
start menu, type the x:\temp (x - the name of your hard disk). search the
directory for any Word documents.
