Recovery of Inbox and custom folder contents after restore to defa

I did an Office restore to default and lost all Outlook inbox, address book,
custom folder contents. I tried importing, click and dragging, etc. of what I
thought was my archived file(s), but nothing is working. Also, when I type in
the path that shows where my .pst files are, say into the Run command to go
there, I get an error that this path isn't valid. I also did a few XP system
restores to preview dates and now when I try to open outlook, it tells me
that it cannot find the correct folder.

HELP.

To avoid losing the data and custom views, always copy the .pst file and use
File->Open from Outlook's menu to access the data. Importing guarantees
data loss such as received dates, connection between contacts and
activities, birthday reminders on the calendar, custom views, etc.
