Recuring task

I am having trouble making tasks recur? I go in the task recurrence box and
set it. It very rarely recurs? What am I doing wrong?

Outlook 2000 on XP.

Sue,

To occur every Wed for instance. It seems like from what I have seen on this
forum that many are having problems with recurring tasks? Is it a bug?

I have used recurring tasks a lot for years and haven't had any problems to
speak of, nor have I seen any trend here or elsewhere to indicate that
others are having widespread problems.

Are you marking tasks complete? Outlook doesn't generate the next task in
the series until the first one is complete. The KB article at
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;251198 explains how
this works.
