When I attempt to put a recurring event in Entourage Calendar, the program
crashes. This seemed to begin immediately after I installed OX 10.5. leopard.
Prior to that recurring events worked fine. Am using office 2004. thx
Have you updated Leopard? 10.5.8 is the latest.
We also need to know what version of Entourage you are using including any
updates. 11.5.6 is the latest version of Office 2004.

Have you tested in a new Identity? Create a new Identity...no need to enter
account info. Create an event and see if Entourage crashes. If yes, this
indicates corruption in your current Identity.
You can test by exporting as .rge file. I would first try all items, but if
you get an error that one or more items failed to export, try each item
individually to find where the corruption is located.
How to manually move your data. (when import fails and/or you need to move
to a new Identity same version or revert to an older version)

Make a duplicate in the Finder first as additional backup. A rebuild does
make a duplicate, but sometimes in the process the original and backup get
merged resulting in total disaster. It's rare but it happens.
