Recurring meeting for first and third Monday with SP Workspace

Problem Child

I am trying to set up one (and only one) recurring meeting for the 1st and
3rd Monday of each month and link it to one (and only one) SP workspace. I
want all occurences of this meeting to be displayed on the left nav bar of
the SP workspace. I've received suggestions to set up two meeting and create
one workspace for each meeting, but this is not an acceptable solution for a
singular recurring meeting where all information needs to be kept together in
one work space. With everything MS Outlook can do, I find it very hard to
believe there's not a quick fix to this issue.

Has anyone else been faced with this problem? If so, what, if any, was the
solution?

That is not the suggestion you were given - it was a question you were
asked. What does the left nav bar in Sharepoint have to do with outlook?
What displays on it is controlled within sharepoint - you need to check with
the sharepoint newsgroups for help in showing both series on the nav bar.
(Did you try making the second appointment in the workspace calendar?)

The sharepoint newsgroups are at
