Recurring task bar labeling

After I highlighted a recurring tasks, I'm trying to label the task bar by
selecting Format>Bar, however the label didnt show up as what I would
expected on non recurring task.

In order to get each of the recurring task bars labelled, I have to click on
each individual task bar to label them.

Is there any way to get around this, where I just need to format the tasks
and the label would show up in all recurring bars automatically?

Hi Mike,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup

If you expand the recurring task so that all the tasks names are visible,
then select all those tasks (click on the first, hold the Shift key and
click on the last) then Formar/Bar should produce the result you want.

Mike,

In the Bar Styles dialog, select the "Rolled Up task" symbol and change the
label as you want.
